Malaysia government will implement goods and services tax (GST) by end of 2011 at 4%, replacing current sales and services tax, which is currently at 5% and 10%.
Essential goods such as rice, sugar, cooking oil, flour & transporation would not subject to GST.
The corporate tax (currently at 25%) & personal tax (currently range from 0% - 27%) expect to be reduce.
